The Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians has been working closely with NRCS, part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to make meaningful improvements on their lands. NRCS supports Indian Tribes and private landowners in implementing on-the-ground projects, from forest restoration to habitat improvement, helping communities care for their forests, waters, and wildlife.
